Not one, but TWO solid bike shop experiences today. Unheard of, right??
Right after Re-Cycles, Jake and I walked up to Carytown Bicycle Company where Tim greeted us at the door like the boss that he is. Sensing that I was clearly scrambling to replace a wheel on the fly, the guys at the CBC were awesome with advice. Instead of a Low Pro, I ended up going with a silver Weinmann DP18 which is what I had on my last (now stolen) build. The DP18s are stronger than LPs, but still won’t break the bank which is super cool. Not only did they hook me up with a good wheel, Josh threw on some rim tape and put my new All-City cog and lockring on for me right there.
If you ever get a chance to stop through the CBC shop, definitely do it. They’re a great group of guys and 99% of the time have exactly what were looking for.
